TyroTuner is a microphone-based utility that tunes the standard six-string guitar. Select what string you want to tune, and then play the guitar string...the needle will tell you whether you need to tune up or down.
The green zone represent +/- 5 centitones, within the just-noticeable-difference.

Easy to use
Just bought a guitar for my son. It's our first guitar, and it came with very loose strings. At first I thought the tuner wasn't working as the indicater wouldn't leave the bottom, but I kept tightening and it came in.
Easy to use, and checked against a blow tuner. It sound spot on!
Easy, free, excellent.
Not really one for writing reviews but this app is worth the time and for a free app I thank the people that have made it. The tuner is very simple to use and does what it is meant to. Works great on my Ipad looks good to. If you want a good tuner then download it, you have nothing to lose but will gain one good FREE Guitar Tuner..Thanks.
It's free, easy too use and accurate, what more could you ask for? Would love if it could tune to DADGAD for example but that may come in a future update, if this program cost money I'd be ok buy it, very handy having a tuner on my phone especially when tuning someone elses guitar
