I’ve had this App for a little while and used it for the first time tonight. A large amount of choices, including organic, not Halal, Halal, also for meat eats, vegetarian eats and vegan eats, clearly indicated in App with, variable prices from really reasonable to, wait for a special occasion and, several menu options in those choices of places to order from, again all clearly marked. I live in an Urban area so wasn’t surprised about the options just that the App gives very clear indications. The App was simple to download for me. The driver was really quick, cheerful too, even in the rain. Hot food arrived quicker than I thought and 2 minutes before it was estimated in the App, on a Saturday evening!
I particularly liked the, ‘option to track’ the delivery driver, and, that I was told his name, his vehicle type and they showed a photo of him. I did track and was able to see his route, where he was and when he was outside my door, making it easy to be ready for him and the food. If this is an example of ‘the normal’ for the Uber Eats App, I am happy to use them again. Delivery really inexpensive in my opinion and, an ‘option to in App tip’ (which I mucked up, hand slip on phone) after delivery feedback. Excellent App presentation, clarity all the way to my door. Keep it up Uber, not much impresses me these days but, tonight your App and the service did.
So frustrating I’ve given up!
I can’t even register to try this ap!! “Sign up failed, please verify your information and try again”. Used the contact us on their website, I’m emailed back with the usual, send us a screen shot, download the latest version (which I had thought was an obvious theory anyway). So I try to reply to the email, only email replies are blocked! I receive an email to say use the help feature in the app (which I can’t use). So I go through the hassle of another message via the website of which a screenshot can’t be sent by so I write the error message out. I’m told the same thing. Message them agaaain and I get somewhere, or at least I thought, they offer to set the account up for me. Brilliant! Nope, I go through the website, send email addy and phone number, to be told again to check update of app and to send a screen shot. 😡. I didn’t want a takeaway anyway!
Edit: I can only contact as rider/restaurant/business. There is no direct link that I can see to make contact on the link you provided. The page says use help in the app, I can’t use the app as I cannot register! Circles!
Edit again: there is nowhere on the help page to comment or ask a question when using my mobile! I am only referring to Uber eats. The app cannot be used for anything until registering, I cannot register!
