Best UK Train Times App

This is the best app I have found for UK train times. Simple layout, easy to use and has all the info you need without over complicating things. Given that British Rail’s / Network Rail’s own app is absolutely appalling and hasn’t been updated for since the dark ages, this fills an important app gap and is definitely what you are looking for.

On the day only & pushy for paid

This app is constantly pushing you to pay for their pro features and will only let you look at journeys that are on the day in the free one.

My biggest problem with it though, is when trains are delayed, it just changes all of the times for that train (without notifying you), rather than having the original time and the delayed time below or next to it. Seems like a small problem, but it constantly makes you think you’ve missed your train or the train you were planning to get has disappeared.

Please add the ability to save journeys too so you can track them after you’ve found them.

No idea what it costs

The app seems good, although it’s no better than an old app of the same name that I’ve used for years (no longer available). It lacks a nice graphic that tells you where a train is, which saves you comparing times against each station with the actual time.

What concerns me is that when start to use the app you get taken to a screen that says you get a free trial period after which you’re billed. No idea how much or how to opt out after the trial. I’ve deleted the app and now have to wait to see if I’m billed.
