Could be good but bits never worked, others stop & takes too long
Nice idea and the integration with UP app is all good.
The experimental section simply never worked. I've yet to see a reviewer say it does for them.
The info section is a bit unnecessary anyway but after so many updates it just ceases to update again. No massive loss but it all adds to the sense of an abandoned app.
Adding a drink is needlessly long winded.
Can't simply 'add again'.
Can't add something new/not on list and the list is limited and US-centric (not a problem if it allowed e.g. Barcode scanning like MFP, or option to 'build' own recipes).
Is unclear what drinks are - especially tea.
Would benefit from one click add for coffee, or a widget, or even just embed the relevant bit in the UP app itself. Seems a bit pointless to have a separate app.
Last updated in Feb 16 and yet at least one component doesn't even work so definitely feels like abandonware. It's a shame, it's a good idea and I certainly started using it to be more aware of caffeine intake. As a result I've massively changed my caffeine habits. Useful for that but not all it could possibly be.
Made me change within a day
I've been looking for a coffee monitoring app that'll add to HealthKit and this is it and more. After a day you quickly learn that more than a cup in the morning disrupts your sleep at night. Opening the app to log an extra cup now makes me think about it and stop unless I've a late night ahead. It's the kind of thing I hope Apple's Health app would do but I think we can all give up on anything less than teeny incremental sales ploys from them these days so well done Up!
Apparently is slows down my phone
It is kindof limited, slightly amusing for a short period but needs an update as I got a "warning" that it would slow my phone as it needs updating. It hasn't been updated in almost 2 years so think it's going to be deleted until an update is done. It actually does very little and all it really did was make me realise that I don't consume that much caffeine at all.
So it's fine for a week to see how much caffeine you take in and if it can affect your sleep but after that week it's a bit pointless and can slow your phone down.
