ViewExif is an iOS extension which allows you to view metadata of photos and videos. It adds metadata capability not only for Photos app but also for 3rd-party apps.
Being able to read exif tags can be of great importance not only for beginners, but also for other photographers who want to find out what settings and tools were used to create a particular photograph. However, you couldn't read those important data before. Fortunately, this issue is perfectly solved with app extension since iOS 8. So we create this app for photographers.
For those people who want to protect privacy, this app is useful for you as well. When you send photos via email or share on social network, your personal information (geo location, taken date etc) is shared as well. If you upset to share those information, ViewExif is able to remove it before sharing.

Seamless solution to a problem Apple should have thought of!
I love Apple Photos app, the only downside to it as the lack of an exif viewer. Vital if you are trying to improve your photography, share your data to photoblogs or getting to grips with a new camera, EXIF data is automatically embedded in all the pictures you take. So why Apple Inc chose to leave out an EXIF view option in their otherwise excellent Photos app is a mystery to me! Anyway, rant over and this EXIF viewer app adds a handy EXIF view button on to the 'Share' options to allow you to ready the EXIF data on your photos. Personally I'd also like to be able to view this data in the 'Edit' mode as well if that's possible as a future improve,net, but for £0.79 I really can't complain!
Essential
A missing link in the photo process for iOS devices, this beautifully unassuming app sits just where it should in your share menu and lets you process and examine your photos (it gets bonus points for being the first and only app to let me use the share menu like a pipeline). The iOS photo tools aren't complete without it!
What an elegant app
Does its task seamlessly and looks great in the process. Except Apple allowing you to view EXIF data yourself, this is the most straightforward way to see that data. Happy to pay a tiny bit for quality and no ads. Thank you to the developer!
