Wakelet = wow

Every day you come across interesting and useful info or articles you maybe don’t have time for right now. Wakelet is the storage point for that. Simply share the page you want to keep- share to Wakelet into a specific collection and you’re done!

Great but Some Issues

I’m an illustration student in glasgow and our class use this platform to create portfolios for our projects. It is very easy to use and does everything you would need for our use. But there is a lot of complaint from the class all round that it will duplicate your work or not save the work and new edits. I’ve found that the reorder feature doesn’t work well and never goes in the order you save it to but something completely else. Recently it was as if there was a change and now you have to select more photos to add to a collection instead of just being able to directly access the camera roll libray. This means I have to keep closing the app down and reopening it to add a new image. The app can be quite slow which is understandable for certain file types however there are times images will post fast at times or very slow at others. This app has been so useful and we have been thinking about changing but I think it’s such a great app just some issues that make your work harder and more stressful.

Fantastic platform and even better team!

I’ve been using Wakelet since 2016 after I became overwhelmed by all the good content on the web that got lost among my bookmarks and links my friends would exchange.

After doing a search for a curation app and trying a few, Wakelet blew all the others out of the water. It was the perfect combination of functionality and clean design without all the added stuffing of other apps.

I use the browser extension and iOS app to keep my bookmarks synced wherever I go and have friends using it now for their side projects and meet-ups. From studying hacks to travel plans, having a Wake (it’s like a content playlist) to store all the useful links in one place is such a time saver.

What also sets Wakelet apart is the amazing team of humans they have behind their app who are so responsive and cultivate a brilliant attitude when engaging with their users.

With a growing community, 2018 being one of the best years yet for new features, a human centred approach to business and exciting integrations on the horizon you’d be missing out by not giving this modern curation solution a try.
