EV Route Planner and Charging Assistant
WattsUp is the app that you’ve been waiting for and a revolution in how rapid charging options are presented to electric vehicle (EV) drivers.
Enjoy the ability to easily view a chosen route knowing that the information is comprehensive, up to date and includes all major network operators.
WattsUp will show you all of the rapid chargers on your journey. Regardless of network operator, if it has the connector you need, you’ll see it. Missed the announcement of a new charger? Don’t worry, it will be there.
We’ll automatically show you actual driving distances to chargers whilst en route. Choose a charger but see all of the alternatives using our intuitive status bar.
Be forewarned if a charger isn’t working and choose an alternative *before* you arrive. WattsUp will show you the live operational status of a charging location (when available).
We think you’ll be excited by how WattsUp works. However, we want to continue improving and updating the app. If you have feedback for us, please get in touch!
WattsUp - Inspiring range confidence.
Note: We are working with UK, Ireland and New Zealand network operators to introduce live status features.
New option (in Settings) to show/hide TAXI-only Chargepoints
Live status for ESB chargers in the UK
Live status for Swarco E.Connect chargers

Does not have my car
I downloaded then went to setup picked Nissan LEAF then it only went as high as 30kw. My new car which arrives in Feb will have the new 40kw batter, so will try it out when the app includes my car, looks like it could be what I need then. So for now I just deleted it. I can’t really rate this until I can actually use it, so to be fair I took one star only as it doesn’t have my car but it looks like it will be fine!

Hi there Marak_48, you can update/reload the car database from the Settings (Cog wheel) option — it should have the 40kWh LEAF there. Hope you enjoy your new car when it comes!
Looks like something I could use but when plotting long journeys it hangs when trying to use “Overview” or “Just Go”. It seems okay on shorter journeys. I was plotting from Ayrshire to Crewe and Ayrshire to Weston Super Mare. Problem now resolved and working well. It would be really useful if it was possible to filter charge points (only Nissan Rapids for example). Developer response was first class.

Hi Dataprint. Version 1.1 should resolve the long distance journey issue that you experienced. If not, we would be happy to review via email: hello@WattsUp.app
Handy app to have when driving longer distances
Regularly use this when travelling extended distance. Can’t wait for Apple CarPlay Interface to be ready :)
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
