Fun, but short

Our four year old enjoyed this for the twenty minutes it took him to complete every element. He found the quizzes too easy, but then he is Dino mad! Shame there isn't more content.

Poor games elements let it down

Was really excited to see this as my 3 y.o son is just starting to learn about dinosaurs. For £2.99 it’s a very poor title. The games are way too simple and offer very little play value, for example, ‘draw a line between a dinosaur and a fish’. Can that even be classed as a game? To add to this, a number of the sub games are buggy. Many feature drag and drop graphical elements that have to be dropped in to the right place, but the drag and drop system hangs so the graphical elements get stuck and the sub game has to be restarted. Although the title states ‘for all ages’ several of the games require the child to be able to read the complex names of the dinosaurs to complete the game, so I also find that statement misleading. If the game had been free it may have got a slightly higher score, but at this price it’s a really weak offering.

Why the App Store promotes titles such as this as ‘game of the day’ one can only guess? I can only assume they choose the titles based on the look of the graphics but don’t actually check the game play.
