Good but not just for those in wheelchairs
Iwouldn't have found this unless I saw it in This Morning today as I am disabled but not in a wheelchair and have to use disabled toilets due to mobility issues. Would be great if description could be changed to include not just disabled people in wheelchairs. Great idea and app though as it can be so hard finding accessible toilets out and about especially in London.
Re people saying about people putting parking and toilets in the wrong places, I think this might because if you add something it adds it where you are (or where the GPS thinks you are) at that moment even though you may be looking elsewhere on the map. ie. I know there are accessible spaces in my local town behind the shops, this is only the other end of the High Street from where I live so can easily find it on the map, but if I try adding the parking while I'm at home, even though I've got the map showing the area of the parking, it will show the free parking at my house (or wherever I am at that time). It would be great to be able to add places without being there in person as we may know of spaces or toilets but not using them at the time, or forget to use the app to help others.
Good app for free.
This is a very handy app to have the only grip I have is if you enter the location of a toilet or disabled parking spot and you later notice you've made a mistake i.e you mark a parking spot as a toilet you can't undo the mistake.
I have also read in a review that you need to be at the location to add it because when you try to add a location the first screen zooms in on where you are at that point but in the second screen you are given crosshairs that you can freely move around the map it's with these hairs that you add the location I do think that if the option of an arial picture was added it would make adding a lot easier.
Terrible - fields not populated
This app should have been pre-populated using some research by the developers, then ask users to update any errors in it, rather than just publishing it as effectively an empty database and it does not work i.e. update, when you try to populate any of the fields. It also cannot find locations properly & is not user friendly, e.g. listing towns in alphabetical order or having sub-categories for e.g. restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, retail parks, etc. I would be willing to give this app another chance & change this review, if the developer put some work in to it, because most people don't have time to do the developer's job for them. Cannot recommend at this time.
