Can't connect iPhone
Whilst it seems OK on my iPad, when I try to use it on my iPhone in my local Wetherspoons (where I use it most), it comes up with their Welcome screen, but then whatever website I select from my favourites, it just goes back to their Welcome screen, but there's no connect button any where to take you into your selected site. Also, where it says 'Welcome (name) it thought I was someone else on some tries! At least with Wetherspoons own connection it remembered my login / password, I then just clicked on continue - I can't use either of the two Cloud connections now.
Also, on the Venues tab, though I was sat in Wetherspoons, it showed Caffe Nero as being nearer to me than Wetherspoons, though it's about 250 metres away as the crow flies!
The 'Cloud' hunter
I am a tech-know nomad who does many things on the move from street photography to sound capture for atmospheric effect. Thus to stream through the ether intense data for conversion into sound bites and photoclips is essential. To aid the creative process I need the appropriate beverages and nourishment to keep me on the go throughout 24/7 as, when and where I want. The app provides me the freedom to explore and have fun by identifying my favourite watering holes in unchartered areas......
Okay. The second difficult album needs work
Good to have an app that finds free wifi and connects on auto. Range is good in centre of town but provinces tend to suffer. I hope it's only a matter of time before the coverage gets acceptable.
Slightly annoying install popups when I connect to a new network and problems with the cloudx connections in some venues.
