Really good now the data is working again

Nick8383

Bought this earlier in the year. Database didn’t load and developer didn’t respond to my support emails, so I got a refund.

Tried it again and the database now downloads fine. Seems to be the only functional offline Wikipedia app there is now. So great to have access to all those articles when don’t have internet connectivity.

Feels like a true hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy in your pocket. Love being able to look things up when I’m on the London Tube, for example.

Good but need some improvements

Naturally, a very handy app if you don't want to depend on the internet connection.

However, please be aware that database updates are the weakest point:
1) they are very slow;
2) sometime they don't work.

Also, homepage/interface could be improved:
1) homepage icons look heavy (unlike the icons in the Bookmarks, which pleasantly look and feel iOS 8 or 9-like)
2) no indication of the language/database used for search (you can only see/change that in the Settings, so if you just hit the search icon and try searching - you don't know the current language setting and may get NO search results if you attempt to search in a "wrong" language/database).

Subscription renewal isn't obvious. Buying tokens isn't working at the moment either. This means that you can only have a database in one language.

Web site gone don’t buy

You cannot get this app to load the wiki data any more. I upgraded to the latest version after buying an iPhone X but cannot use it. It never gets past the Language page. No web page means no support and no refund. Apple should remove this app.

Wasted my £10.
