Nigel Goodman ,

It seems to work

I installed an earlier version of this for use with Plex (which has problems keeping the Mac awake) and found it problematic. When I saw this new version I deleted the old version, along with all its support files, and installed the new. And now it appears to work correctly. However, sometimes the Mac is asleep before the film I’m watching on Plex on the AppleTV has finished and therefore the films watched/unwatched status is not correctly updated. This is, of course, a problem with Plex, but sometimes this app has allowed the Mac to sleep when it shouldn’t. Most of the time it keeps the Mac awake as it should.

A Really Useful App

This is one of those really useful apps with features that Apple should take notice of, and incorporate in OS X. Perhaps they should pay the developer of Wimoweh a fee, either for taking over the project or for keeping its customers a little happier by plugging a gap in functionality of their operating system.
This app not only does what it sets out to do, but now provides quite a lot of useful information via a very neat user interface.

I can also speak personally of the excellent support I received (over a weekend too) when I had a few problems with the previous release. All these are fixed in this release, which is clearly the best yet.

Very useful!

I have used this app for a few years now, so it's really good to see it is still being updated and supported! I find it so useful for stopping sleep when certain applications are open where I don't want sleep, or in the case of Audio apps, keeping the monitor on as well. Great tool!
