Love this app it's simple and great fun, very addictive. Great way to learn new words and improve your vocabulary. Being nitpicky the thing I would personally like would be the ability to play the same game over again against a time limit rather than using the unlimited feature. Apart from that...brilliant 👍🏼
Excellent game, slightly unresponsive on my iPhone
This game is addictive as others have said. It's very similar to the late lamented Wurdle, with the addition of the shaker feature. Compared to Wurdle the randomised letter selection definitely gives less spellable words - I guess the letter selection algorithm must be different: the result is that the shaker feature comes into play quite quickly. In fact I have stuck to a 5 x 5 grid, so other sizes may behave differently.
I also find on my IPhone 7 that sometimes I can slide my finger too fast for the game to follow. Perhaps this will be corrected in future versions.
Why not make it random again like the original version?
Got a new phone, so re-installed this app, only to find that I can’t do certain things with it like I used to be able to.
The letters used to be totally random except for the exclusion of proper nouns like John and England. But this new version only allows ONE letter Z, Q, K, etc., per board.
We don’t all like to pass our time in the same way. Now, words like “equivoque” and “quizzed” are no longer options.
What is your reasoning behind this change?? I can’t think of ONE good reason why one of your team thought that might be a good idea.
