Could be better..
The app is good. I love using it to read blogs and write blogs. The main problem with this app is that it is very limited compared to the web browser. I don't need to be able to change my blog theme, etc, from the app, what I want it more options when it comes to writing blogs. I want options so you can centre align text and add Read More buttons. It is extremely annoying being able to write a blog on the iPad and then have to go onto the web browser just to add things like a Read More option. Please add these options!
Terrible after Update
What have you done?! The longstanding problem of only being able to truly use certain features properly online persists, such as the paragraph issue mentioned by others and photo uploads almost never go in the place you wish them to be in the text... So far so predictable, this has not changed. (Which is interesting considering so many people have complained about it...)
But after the recent update, my app informs me Wordpress would like to access my photo's - which are already SET as accessible in my iPad settings. Every. Single. Time.
Fine, press ok to continue...and the entire app crashes. The edit field jumps erratically in general but especially when trying to cut and paste text, and when copying sections of text they don't register, so that when trying to paste the only options are 'select' and 'select all'.
Congratulations, your app wasn't an intuitive joy to begin with, but it's even worse now.
Not worth the space on my iPad :(
The app is limited compared to the web browser version of Wordpress, plugins (like Yoast, easy recipe etc) aren't able to be used like they are in the browser which is very off putting as I have to use the web browser anyway so it kind of defeats the objective of having the app to make blogging easier.
Pictures take an age to load up to the media library, if they even load at all. I don't get notified of comments most of the time. Overall, the app could be a lot better than it is.
