Yandex Browser 17+

Excellent browser

I was intrigued when I first saw Yandex browser, and thought I’d give it a try. I used it as my primary browser for about a week I can honestly say it’s excellent.

Some of the bits in Russian don’t bother me in the slightest. Google translate solved it, and in the process it made me learn some Russian, which was wicked!

And did I mention it’s bloody fast. And very stable. Well done Yandex team.

Only one small gripe though, not too sure about picture backgrounds. Can’t figure out how to set a plain solid colour background, or am I missing something obvious?

You can set a background to whatever color you want by setting picture of this color as your own background. We will think about adding a color wheel for setting monotone background.

So far so….ok

A lot of this app is in Russian. The speech feature only offers Russian, Turkish or Ukrainian. The weather is in Russian. And some of the settings are in Russian. So unless your fluent in Russian you’ll be stuck with a lot of it. I couldn’t even see a menu to change the language. The good points though it’s customisable (to a point) it comes with its own mail server and it doesn’t lag. Compared to apps like google or bing id choose Yandex despite the small flaws on language.

Thanks for the feedback! We will try to translate the entire browser interface into English. Please specify what other settings are not translated into English, except for voice search and weather?

It’s good but..

I really think you should play it but if you wanted to change a background on roblox it had not let me it only showed other stuff and a picture of the thing I want to be on. I wanted to change it and it wouldn’t work so please tell me that it can work and I can change it but I reccomend playing this app :)
