What's New in Version 2.9.1

In this release we've given both your local feed and the Peek tab collections a nifty makeover – for example, yaks in the Peek tab now show you where the submission came from – and taken care of a few bug fixes. Enjoy!

New line & warning before removal

Can you please make it possible to allow us to create line breaks. So when we want to show text on a new line, it actually works, instead of just a space between words. Also, instead of removing our yaks that 'break the rules' eg name of a place, how about notifying us before we press send? That way we can modify it without having to re-type it all. I suggested this in my herd and nearby, everyone agreed. Many thanks.

Usually Fine

I usually find that Yik Yak works fine and is a pretty great addition to my apps, but since I updated it last night it hasn't been working. I still have my Yakarma points, but it's saying that there's no Yaks in my area, I have no Yaks of my own, and I've never commented on any; so, basically, I can't see any Yaks at all.
Whenever I try to post a new Yak, it comes up saying, "A server with the specified hostname could not be found."
Please fix this, Yik Yak crew!

Love it

This app is brilliant, the update was fine for me. The only problem is the yaks. They are poor (in Watford) but I like going through peek yaks because some yaks are brilliantly witty! I think the only problem with it is if you are in a rubbish yaking area. Such as me although you can do what I said above.
