Editors' Notes

The makers of the clever and addictive game 10000000 are at it again with an even bigger and wilder tile-matching, dungeon-exploring adventure. The pleasing mix of strategic depth and thrilling luck works beautifully as you make your way up a river, assemble an oddball assortment of crewmates, battle mythological creatures and—you guessed it—build a boat. The retro graphics and jaunty chiptunes soundtrack are immediately charming, while defeating never-ending waves of monsters requires keen eyes and quick fingers.

Classic sequel...

Chris nairne Clark

The original game has probably taken about a year of my life. Perfect finger fodder for when you need to pass five minutes (or hours.) This is an impressive sequel, with tweaked gameplay and many more features. However sometimes they feel over complicated and confusing. By the time I completed this is still hadn't really got my head around what half of the stat bonuses actually did to alter the gameplay experience. Bigger, flashier and mor complicated than the original, and yet it is the original I find myself reaching for when I need my matching puzzle dungeon runner fix.

The best game on iOS

MisterNem

This is my favourite game on iOS. Its simple yet deep gameplay mechanics are SO addictive and the RPG loot and levelling keeps you coming back for more. You can play for just a few minutes a day if you like, but it quickly draws you in and before you know it, you've been playing 30 mins+. It doesn't look like much graphically, but that just adds to its status as an Indie classic!
