“A great way to recycle and make some money!
The whole process couldn't have been easier or quicker to manage. Having sat looking at all my old videos and DVDs for months, it was wonderful to find a simple and straightforward way to recycle them and receive a welcome cheque in return. Thank you Zapper.”

Pretty efficient app and service
Overall this app works well for me. Have used it 3 times over a couple of years to sell over £100 of gear. Good points are speed of scanning, printing as many postage labels as you need, speed of processing and email updates at all stages. Querks are it double-scans items (as other users have noted) and then objects. In fact it doesn’t let you sell the same thing twice - ever - which is a bit odd as we cant be the only people to have his’n’hers copies of stuff. Prices range from 1p to several £ for books, textbooks generally fetching a good price. Payment by cheque is a bit old school, but I guess it keeps bank details private.
I use a variety of apps for getting rid of unwanted items and so have good experience if the process.
Zapper is one of the lesser known brands and pay via cheque as opposed to bank transfer. However I have found the service for my recent transaction to be swift and without incident.
The Collectplus service allows you to track your parcel although Zapper send emails to update on the process regularly.
As with all apps it is worth comparing whether you are getting the best price, however for their reliable service I will be using Zapper again in the future.
The app needs work
I’m new to all this so maybe all selling sites are this bad. There are several problems with using the app. It’s quick at doing the bar codes so that’s great but will take a load at once. It doesn’t mention that you need all address fields filled until you’re about to press accept to parcel up and go! And finally finding all the information you need regarding size weight etc are at the closing point. Well we’ll see how it goes from now.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
