Our next generation Zoopla app is debuting here in experimental mode, introducing property search with a new modern look and a more intuitive user interface. You can use it as your new default app if you're looking for a place to buy or rent in the UK, or you can use it alongside the classic Zoopla property search app.

The biggest news is we've revamped the property details screen. Tap on any property in a search results screen (or one of your saved properties) and you'll see what we mean. The new layout looks heaps better on mobile and amazing on a tablet. Almost all the areas on this screen have had some design love: Property photos are much bigger and easier to browse through; we've updated the icons so they're clearer and more consistent; and we've made the 'Features' area easier to navigate quickly.
Contacting an estate agent from the property details screen is now much easier too. For iPad users, the new contact form appears in a modal (pop-up window), so you don't lose track of the property you were looking at.
Finally, we've dropped Google Maps for iOS users and gone back to Apple Maps. It's been a tough choice, but this should improve load times and reduce crashing. We'll keep an eye on it. Let us know your thoughts.

Good but poor interface
Zoopola is great for property information however their new app is poorly designed. It doesn’t allow searches based on map area (which is handy as you don’t always know the postcode). Also when you search a specific area it’s loading another cities towns, something definitely wrong in the app. Also you ask it not to show you shared ownership properties and prices, but it still shows you these. What’s the point of the toggle then? Please improve your app interface. You loosing out on potential sales as a result.
Solid but bad design
I know its a preview and maybe the design is just a rough demo but i cant see the map, it doesnt show price reductions on the list of properties after I search. When I am in the property I have to click again to see the listing history (it slides in from some unknow reason via some awful sliding menu). On the old app it is on the same page. Technically it works perfect and is fast
A new look on Property search
Different but still very good for property search - recommend giving it a try
