About Boyz N Da Hood

Named after an Eazy-E/N.W.A. song, Boyz N Da Hood were one of the first acts signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs's Bad Boy South label. The original line-up of the group featured rapper Young Jeezy, who went on to a hugely successful solo career following the release of the group's 2005 self-titled debut. The Snowman left some huge shoes to fill, however, fellow Down South rhymer Gorilla Zoe was eventually chosen to fill the vacancy. With top-notch producers and potent hardcore gangsta imagery, the pre-fab rap act has managed to move an impressive amount of units despite major line-up changes. The Zoe-led line-up released BACK UP N DA CHEVY in the fall of 2007.
