About Chris Brokaw

Following a late 1980s stint with punk freakshow G.G. Allin, the impressively eclectic drummer/ guitarist Chris Brokaw joined slowcore pioneers Codeine in 1990. Leaving after 1992's BARELY REAL, Brokaw formed the blues-influenced Come with singer Thalia Zedek. While recording with Come through the 1990s, the tireless Brokaw also played with Steve Wynn, Pullman, the Willard Grant Conspiracy, Consonant, and many others. His solo career began with 2002's RED CITIES, followed by 2003's WANDERING AS WATER, 2005's INCREDIBLE LOVE, and 2008's CANARIS. He also composed the 2004 film score I WAS BORN, BUT...
