Dub Syndicate

About Dub Syndicate

Dub Syndicate, a collective centering on Jamaica’s Style Scott & England’s Adrian Sherwood, deals in deeply traditional roots reggae dosed with a splash of avant-garde jazz. Their concoctions created a strikingly fresh sound that turned critics' ears in the early 1980s. While it's ostensibly used for collaborations, often with reggae legends like U-Roy and Lee “Scratch” Perry, the Dub Syndicate moniker was brought out with frequency as the pair piled up a tremendous discography of offbeat dub madness.
