About Eths

With roots in the musical partnership of Staif Bihl and Greg Rouviere begun in 1996 and featuring frontwoman/vocalist Candice Clot, Marseille, France-based nu metal outfit Eths issued their first album, Soma, in 2004; previously, Eths had released a trio of EPs and toured Western Europe extensively. In 2006, bassist Marc "Roswell" Burghoffer and drummer Guillaume "Yom" Dupré departed the group; replacements were found in collaborators and labelmates, and Eths were back in the studio working on their next release shortly thereafter. That second album, Teratologie, finally arrived in France in late 2007 and elsewhere in March of 2008. Former drummer Dupré subsequently returned to the band's lineup and appeared on Eths' third full-length, 2012's III, which also featured new bassist Damien Rivoal. ~ Chris True
