Producing feisty guitar pop with a personal point of view, Fits revolves around the songwriting of York County, Pennsylvania native Nicholas Cummins. A bassist with Brooklyn groups such as Fern Mayo and PWR BTTM before forming Fits, Cummins recruited guitarist Joe Galarraga (Big Ups), bass player Emma Witmer (gobbinjr), and drummer Brian Orante (Fern Mayo) for the band's debut. In part reacting to the death of Cummins' mother, which involved revisiting an unhappy childhood and claiming a queer identity, All Belief Is Paradise was released by Father/Daughter Records in 2017. ~ Marcy Donelson
