Homemade Weapons is the perfectly chosen moniker of Andre Delgado, a drum'n'bass producer from Seattle whose skill at crafting precise, deadly breakbeats is second to none. Focusing on intricate yet hard-hitting rhythms without any extraneous elements, his tracks are heavy, bleak, and fraught with suspense. In addition to numerous singles, he has released two full-lengths, Negative Space (2016) and Gravity (2019), on the boundary-pushing drum'n'bass label Samurai Music. Delgado first began releasing tracks digitally in 2011. His first EPs for Samurai, After Dark (with Gremlinz) and Kintaro, both appeared in 2013. After releasing Clarion Call in 2015, he issued his acclaimed full-length debut, Negative Space, in 2016. He continued releasing EPs through Samurai and his own Weaponry imprint, including collaborations with Red Army, while Chrysalis (with MC Fokus) appeared on Dispatch Recordings in 2017. Homemade Weapons and Red Army also contributed to Ohm Resistance's 7" single subscription series in 2018. His second full-length, Gravity, arrived in 2019, followed by a remix 12" with mixes by Donato Dozzy and Tommy Four Seven (both typically known for producing techno rather than drum'n'bass).
