In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories are gathering around the piano with our mother singing carols and hymns in church. Our family was very musical and loud embracing songs on the radio, singing together in the back on many road trips or just around town. Depeche Mode, Black Celebration Frank Sinatra, In the Wee Small Hours Joji, SMITHEREENS Each of these albums cover various emotional realms and times that inspire the poetry of music in my head and heart. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pour On Me” Pour On Me was written at a time when I was searching to rekindle the love in my relationship. It's a beacon of hope that love can be rediscovered for others. The song is a modern tilt on new wave with dark synth. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My simplest joy is when my son asks me to write songs, like he did for my song 'Sus' and requests to listen to them in my car. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's plenty on my list. I just keep creating because it's cathartic and brings so much joy.
