Maite Perroni is a Mexican actress and singer who rose to fame as one of the young protagonists of the hit TV show Rebelde, which aired between 2004 and 2006. Perroni was also a member of RBD, the fictional teen band derived from the show that went on to achieve global stardom. After the group called it quits in 2009, Perroni went on to feature on numerous TV series and movies. In 2013 she returned to music with Eclipse de luna, her first solo album. Since then she has released sporadic hit singles such as "Loca" (featuring Cali & El Dandee), as well as embarking on several international tours. In 2020 Perroni landed a leading role on the Netflix series Dark Desire. ~ Mariano Prunes
