At the beginning of my music career I faced loads of challenges, the first of all being a female DJ in a male dominated industry in early 2000s. Well, I came, I saw, we, female DJs, conquered! Everything But the Girl, Everything but the Girl Jamiroquai, Discover Jamiroquai - EP Moby, Go - The Very Best of Moby (Deluxe) Those albums are the basic for house and electronica of early 00. Toxic is my FAV release of the year..excellent companion while travelling on a flight or high speed trains.. I love the bass, the drums... very energyc! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in front of a crowd of thousand in a festival, has with no doubt been my most memorable moment in my career so far..noisy crowd, baloons released in the air, lasers at the corners of the stadium..a moment I will never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am now branding the name of Missy Jay, opening a shop in collaboration with a young designer. We would like to promote a new concept beach party, it would be like a big fair.
