I grew up only being able to listen to non secular music until one day my mums friend brought around a tape of Cher and Whitney Houston, it changed my life. I had never heard something so amazing! Aaliyah, Aaliyah Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Whitney Houston, Whitney: The Greatest Hits These albums are incredibly well made - amazing production, great musicians and lyrically beautiful. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shoulder to Shoulder” I wrote this song with Eg White, its about toxic relationships and love. I have a special connection with Eg as a writer and this was one of our first songs. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's hard to be too specific but sharing the stage with amazing artists like Lionel Ritchie, Andrea Bocelli and Burt Bacharch to name a few, was special. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Ive been lucky to achieve most of my ambitions as an artist and don't look too far ahead - what will be will be!
