About Solji

Born in Seoul's Gwanak district, singer Heo Sol-ji entered the music industry as half of the pop duo 2NB, having been scouted by Friday Entertainment in 2006. Following several years of ballad-centric material with the duo, Solji left the group in 2012 to become the leader of K-pop five-piece EXID ("Exceed in Dreaming"). Through the 2010s, the group released three studio albums (one Korean, two Japanese), five mini-albums, and a number of singles, finding their first number one hit with 2014's "Up & Down." After signing a contract with C-JeS in 2020, Solji made inroads into a solo career with her debut mini-album, 2022's First Letter.
