About The Left Outsides

A husband-and-wife duo based out of London, England, the Left Outsides' spectral blend of hazy British psych-folk and sepia-toned indie pop invokes names like Mike & Lal Waterson, Offa Rex, Nico, Richard Dawson, and Espers. Founded in 2007 by Mark Nicholas and Alison Cotton after the dissolution of psych-folk outfit the Eighteenth Day of May, the duo released their first full-length, The Shape of Things to Come, in 2014. In 2017, the Left Outsides issued their sophomore effort, There Is a Place, via Cardinal Fuzz. ~ James Christopher Monger
