About Windowpane

The hard rock band Windowpane formed in Cumberland, Maryland, but later moved to the larger market of Orlando, Florida. In 1997 they relocated to Seattle, Washington, where in 2000 they caught the attention of Neil Young and Mad Season producer Brett Eliason, who worked on the band's 2001 release, Push. In 2006, the band released their second album, The Silence. Their House of Cards EP landed in 2008 and was followed a year later by the album Daybreak. The band spent 2012 alongside Staind, Shinedown, and Godsmack on the U.S. package tour dubbed UPROAR and also released the album The Silence. Tours with Five Finger Death Punch and Queensryche followed, then in 2016 the band issued a self-titled album. A full-length documentary film focused on the band was released that same year, titled There Is No Such Thing as the Record Label Fairy. ~ David Jeffries
