From bestselling author Colleen Hoover, comes a new novel about risking everything for love - and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there's no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn't expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can't seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…
Cracking read as usual
Colleen leads you on a path of intrigue, the story is cleverly written and you can often never guess where the words will lead. Her books only unfold when you are embroiled within the characters and never want to leave. It makes you want to read, then think, read some more, then think some more. The whole confess strand was so enjoyable, loved that approach and loved reading the confessions. Art work is fantastic throughout. Owen....mmmm
I've read hundreds of books but this! This book is just OMG Colleen Hoover is just WOW
As usual when I buy a Colleen Hoover book I am not disappointed. The confessions were truly thought worthy and I could even relate to a few! From the very first words of this read I was hooked, I wish I could put into words what I feel when reading a CHO book, I feel I know these characters her writing is emotional and personal and just gives me a warm feeling when I finish. My only downside is when reading Colleen's books is that I cannot put them down and read the full book in one sitting and I truly do not want the book to end, as in all of Colleen's' books this is a must, must read
