Daughter of Time is a prequel to the After Cilmeri Series, and is appropriate for young teens to adults.
A medieval man with an uncertain destiny, Llywelyn, the Prince of Wales, faces treachery and deceit at the hands of friends and foes alike …
A modern woman with a troubled past, Meg’s life is in tatters when she slips through time and into medieval Wales …
Only by working together can Meg and Llywelyn navigate the shifting allegiances that threaten the very existence of Wales–and create their own history that defies the laws of time.
**A note from the author: I am so happy to be able to share with you this prequel to the After Cilmeri series. I created Footsteps in Time and Prince of Time first, and only wrote Daughter of Time after so many readers wanted to know how the story began. Meg's journey is continued in Footsteps in Time and Winds of Time, a novella that is meant to be a companion to the series. Happy reading!
Who know the Welsh had a prince?
So I took a chance on this book as for some reason I cannot see any reviews, it took me 2 days to read it, which considering I work full time shifts it had me pretty hooked.
Primary why I was reading it so intently was the wanting to find the reasons why she transported back in time, this seemed to be completely irrelevant to the story, with no explanation, so a little put out there.
The ending was not what I expected, the plot was a little hollow, and I skipped past all the Welsh pre/during battle talk, BUT in the end I also checked out the Welsh history to find out a little more about it, so I guess it did its job.
It's a nice story but hasn't inspired me to buy the second in it series, but did still engage me to read it in 2 days, so in the end not a bad book, just not the greasiest for me.
Daughter of time
I have rad several of Sarah Woodburys stories now, and love them all. The characters are strong and believable and the storyline keeps you connected. I want to immmediately buy and read the next book in this series!
