After trying a couple of the other examples of the first iBook 2 books. I have to say that this is one of the best ones yet. Lots of content and information. There are interactive elements, pictures, videos and widgets - but they are not overused to look flashy but are there to enhance the text. Really impressed with this one - keep it up DK.
This book is great, its very interesting and educational. I would definitely recommend it.
But i've got a question for if the maker reads this, is there supposed to be music with the video or is normal that there isn't?
Wel either way it's very realistic and interesting to read.
After a first failure, the book loaded properly and is a joy to read. Educational, yes, but not just for children. The text is clear, concise, informative and in no way boring. The images, videos, 3Ds are what make an iPad touch book so different from the familiar paper variety. I'll be looking for more DK ebooks. The entertaining way to learn - at any age.
