eBook Typography
for flowable eBooks
by Chris Jennings

Designers who work within publishing companies are often frustrated with the results when their beautifully crafted print books are converted to eBooks. Particularly if they are flowable eBooks, that can have their viewing modes and fonts changed by the user.
This eBook focuses on revealing some features that can be implemented in flowable eBooks, in order to improve the aesthetic qualities of the juxtaposition of text and image on the page.

What's New in Version 1.1.5

Version 1.1.5 Added javascript to balance heading text. This is then mentioned in the text in Chapter 7: Headings. Removed the demonstrations of long columns in chapter 6 since this is not supported and broke the eBook. Removed the long scrolling Version History from the popup, since long vertical lengths of text do not display properly as popup references in iBooks on MAC - Added a version history page instead. Some issues resolved under iOS version of iBooks
