Is it possible to fully know anyone? Even those we love the most? What tips someone over the edge to commit a crime?
For a Nebraska farmer, the turning point comes when his wife threatens to sell off the family homestead.
A cozy mystery writer plots a savage revenge after a brutal encounter with a stranger.
Dave Streeter gets the chance to cure himself from illness - if he agrees to impose misery on an old rival.
And Darcy Anderson discovers a box containing her husband's dark and terrifying secrets - he's not the man who keeps his nails short and collects coins. And now he's heading home . . .
Like DIFFERENT SEASONS and FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT, which generated such enduring hit films as The Shawshank Redemption and Stand by Me, FULL DARK, NO STARS proves Stephen King a master of the long story form.

A compelling set of tales that drawn you in and leave unable to stop turning the pages. Wonderful stuff from Stephen King. Just like always.
Decent bit of fiction
This is somewhat decent fiction bit I did find this book a little weak and boring. The best fiction book here on the iBookstore is 'Search and Destroy' I really really enjoyed that book!
Full Dark No Stars
A good read. Stephen King is a master of believable descriptions of ordinary people thrown into extraordinary situations. These 4 stories are more in the style of the Mouse on the Mile with a rich picture of the characters and their surroundings and situations. The stories are creepy in their ordinariness, with only a minor tweak needed to move them into a narrative describing ordinary lives. I only gave this 3 out of 5 as it is not as un-put-down able as some of his other works, and with the novella format and the portrayal of the characters leaves you a little detached from them - which is probably intentional . Nevertheless a good read
