Enjoyed it
Typical genre for Grisham. Lots of build up but great characters. Could have done with a better ending.
Thoroughly enjoyable read
This book is classic Grisham - gripping courtroom drama incorporating emotional human interest issues, written in his usual engaging and informative style. The entire book is captivating, however the courtroom scenes are gripping, I absolutely could not put it down.
A must read for Grisham fans. This is my second favourite, trumped only by The Last Juror.
The Rainmaker
Interesting book but abrupt ending with no-explanation why he left the legal profession or if there was a payout with General Benefit despite it filing for bankruptcy. Were the accounts filed by General Benefit false as it projected almost entire reserves in cash or was it a Bruiser/Prime to be false, a vehicle to launder money.
