Not every love story begins with a fiery explosion of lust.
Some are tiny embers of hope that smoulder slowly until the stars align…
I'd been living in a bubble.
It was meant to protect me from the things in life that hurt.
I could live, I could laugh, but at least I didn't have to love.
Loving was dangerous and I would never do it again.
It was working just fine, until the bubble burst.
It let in danger.
It let in light.
It let in…him.
Unknowingly I'd been living in the dark, feeling my way.
He filled my world with starlight.
He showed me how to move on to the next level.
He made me feel again.
I thought the wounds from the past would never fully heal,
But perhaps they only heal when the time is right.
Sometimes you just have to thank your lucky scars.
I’m lucky I found this book
Lucky scars wow
This book is an easy fun , lovely read .
I did shed a tear , not telling where .
Bea and starman .... lovely story.
It’s show that someone can change your whole world in a blink and you just don’t see the wood for the trees kinda moments.
Swept me up so I couldn’t put it down , I was los5 in this perfectly scarred book .
I thank my lucky scars for a blissful read
WOW just WOW (with all the feels)
I was in a major book slump and Kerry has dragged me right out of it with Bea & Ziggy’s story, and now I have a major book hangover 😩
Best book I have read in a very long time (and I’ve read a lot) I literally felt every single emotion of the characters. Kerry’s writing is stunning, I could not put this book down (devoured it within 24 hours).
A 5 star review, although in my opinion this book deserved many more stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you are reading this review to gauge whether or not to purchase this book, I urge you to do it, you will not be disappointed 😉
For my first time read by this author I couldn’t have loved the writing more. The whole ease and flow of this story was wonderful.
Bea and Ziggy’s story was a true coming together of two broken hearts. Of people who had avoided attachments to other people because of what could and had happened when that person young you are attached to, who you love, is stolen from you. The instant comfort they find in each other allows them to develop a friendship that might just be able to lead to more if they can overcome the scars that already cover their hearts.
I will definitely be reading more from Kerry Heavens and I can’t wait to see what else she comes up with.
