"...Realizing the strong emotions I was feeling while reading this story, reminded me that the author Uzo Okoye had excellently penned the right words in such a fashion, that I was actually believing this story was true...This story is as real as it can get..."
Missing Piece Blurb:
A desperate search for what ‘more’ there is to life, eventually leads John Williams to answers. But tragically, everything falls apart, just as his journey appears to be complete. His picture-perfect life is stripped apart - piece by piece - and lies in a crumpled heap. To make matters worse, a troubling dark secret from his past returns to haunt him.
Will John accept his new reality? Is he brave enough to fight for the truth? Or will the enticement to return to his seeming perfect past prove too much of a temptation to resist?
Having read a preview of this soon-to-be published book, I was hooked! What was the missing piece that John William's life lacked? As I got caught up in the story on a long train journey to Glasgow, I realised that, like a jigsaw puzzle in a box, John's life was fragmented with no overall purpose. Even when he tried to put it together with his mansion, top job, expensive cars, designer clothes and picture perfect family it was an eyesore because a significant piece was missing. I was drawn particularly to the plight of his children, Dave and Lola, whose lives started to spiral out of control because of a lack of investment of time and love on the part of their father. At each twist in the story, the pieces of John's life became more fragmented. I was intrigued by what would happened next. I recognised that it would take something or someone significant to put this jigsaw back together again. But would the picture ever be complete and beautiful? Well, you'll just have to read the book to find out....
