Like no other......

Straight to the point, woffle-free advice, this little book prepares you for the cultural chasm that exists between the West and China.

And the author's candid anecdotes used to illustrate his advice bring it all to life: getting shanghaied in Shanghai; targeted by pirates; caught with pants down in a business meeting; and hassled by Chinese security,......

If you're planning a trip to China, this little book could save you more than money.

Reading this book....

May just save you the cost of a trip to China or at the very least prevent you from paying through the nose for something as simple as a taxi ride?

Will make you laugh as it is both a very funny and insighful book that reads like a good novel, unlike others i could mention.
All guide books should read like this!

Is like having an expert in Chinese affairs sit you down and warn you off about the pitfalls, tricks, toilets and conmen that your ever likely to encounter on any Asian trip, never mind China.

Is frank and brutally honest.. from stepping off the plane, using a mobile phone to eventually getting to your hotel and yes finding your hotel again?

Is full of clever little tidbits and bulletproof remarks/advice that will ensure your survival and prevent you from becoming an idiot abroad in this extreme of foreign worlds.

Is also applicable to: Thailand, India, Pakistan etc......

But be warned though... get it wrong in China and you might just pay a very high price for not being adequately prepared?

On the other hand.. for the cost of a pint or two (half a pint if your living in Dublin) save yourself the hassle... heed this books down to earth advice and avoid making every possible rookie/newbie mistake known to man or China man for that matter?
Remember.... you are a very very long way from home should anything go wrong?

Ignore this book at your PERIL!
