Customer Reviews
Riftwar Saga, part 2
A worthy successor to Magician, Silverthorn is only half the length of its predecessor but it again certainly packs in the adventure. This time around there is more magic but less politics. As with Magician, I found that I could scarcely put Silverthorn down, but unlike Magician Silverthorn isn't a complete story but the first half of a two-parter. Recommended.
Be careful before you buy
This is the second book in a trilogy. Before you buy this, note that the third book "Darkness at Sethanon" isn't available (17/10/2012) as a separate book, but can be bought in combination with the 1st and 2nd.
I'm faced with having to buy this again just to get the 3rd book. Not a happy bunny!
Overpriced individually
Buy the trilogy for cheap. If you buy this on its own you'll find it a bit short for the price...
