Apple defines itself by what it sells every day. It is as simple as that. It’s about offers, which millions of people around the world compare to alternatives. Those who opt for the unique and intelligent cutting-edge products from Apple, usually get more than just a product. Customers choose Apple products because they associate something very special with them. Something you can already perceive while unpacking. With Apple everything is somehow different. With an outstanding award-winning advertising campaign, Apple already managed in it’s early history to win the dissenters. Apple challenged his potential customers to "Think Different". Today the need for distinctiveness is even more pronounced than ever. People want to be seen as individuals with their personal views and perceived ideas. Steve has managed to meet these needs through developing mass products and market them successfully.

This book reads like a Thesis on Steve Jobs and Apple. I have read books paying £10-£20 which were not as good a read. The English is 4/5 and there is a chapter that is more of a "rant" than information, but for Free this book is well worth it.
An amusing read
This book, originally written in German, has suffered from the translation process. Phrases that are presumably colloquial German have been directly translated and there are some pretty horrific grammatical errors. However, once one gets past the grammar, the thing that really strikes you is the degree to which the author LOVED Steve Jobs and LOVES all things Apple.
I consider myself a Steve/Apple fan but Harry Wessling is in another league altogether and the book does seem to develop into a lengthy love letter to Steve.
Having said that, it's free, quite informative and at times amusing, though unintentionally so. But with comments such as "the fantastically practical Thunderbolt connector" there is a feeling that Steve's reality distortion field is particularly strong in Germany!
An overall good reading experience.
I enjoyed reading this book. The only trouble was that I wanted to visit my local Apple Store whilst reading it!
