This step-by step guide to luxury lifestyle design teaches:

* How Tim went from $40,000 dollars per year and 80 hours per week to $40,000 per MONTH and 4 hours per week
* How to outsource your life to overseas virtual assistants for $5 per hour and do whatever you want
* How blue-chip escape artists travel the world without quitting their jobs
* How to eliminate 50% of your work in 48 hours using the principles of a forgotten Italian economist
* How to trade a long-haul career for short work bursts and frequent 'mini-retirements'.

This new updated and expanded edition includes:

More than 50 practical tips and case studies from readers (including families) who have doubled their income, overcome common sticking points, and reinvented themselves using the original book as a starting point
* Real-world templates you can copy for eliminating email, negotiating with bosses and clients, or getting a private chef for less than £5 a meal
* How lifestyle design principles can be suited to unpredictable economic times
* The latest tools and tricks, as well as high-tech shortcuts, for living like a diplomat or millionaire without being either.

4 Hour Work Week

If you want to get started to change your life and work attitudes this is a great book to read and action. I already feel better doing the 80/20 rule and creating better results all round.
See for yourself.

Interesting book but not always

First off, I should say that I haven't read all of the book, but there is a reason why I'm writing this review now.

It started out quite fascinating and some of the concepts at the start of the book I was able to put to practice immediately such as ditching my freelance clients that were consuming the most time for little reward (The 80/20 rule).

And I have had one situation where I have been at the receiving end of when the powers that be won't ditch the waste but I may have convinced them now it's time, having seen me work 14 hours plus weekends vs the 6 hours 4 days a week I had managed to achieve.

However about mid way I started to loose interest in the book. (Hence the 3 stars, which I might update after I've finished). I think it was the seemingly endless talk about reducing time consumed on emails. Perhaps I'm aware of this already but I'm surprised how many others are easily occupied by emails, Skype etc so it may be useful and interesting to them.
