I read this in three evenings. I liked the characters and the story held my grip. Enjoyable read!
Ian McEwan has crafted a beautiful novel which covers a complex subject. He is a thorough and sensitive writer and you therefore have great compassion for two characters in particular. Would have loved the storyline to have been extended, or even a second book .....
