Publisher Description

'The Best Thriller Writer Alive' Ken Follett

There's one last change for justice . . .

They dreamed of changing the world. Instead they're facing a mountain of debt and no hope of a future.

Mark, Todd and Zola are starting to realise it's not even worth graduating from law school. They're better off hanging out at The Rooster Bar, plotting how to dodge the loan sharks.

But maybe there's another way. Maybe they know enough about the law to pass as lawyers.

Because it turns out the crooked hedge fund billionaire who owns their law school also runs the bank that arranged their student loans.

And it's time justice was served. Even if it means taking on the FBI to do it . . .

Change of focus for Grisham

Those expecting courtroom fireworks and lots of twists and turns may be disappointed with this novel,
But the story and the descriptions of how the legal system works, and people are trained to work in it, is a jolly good read anyway. Great for a beach holiday - just don’t expect it to be too demanding

How does he do it? He just gets better and better! As usual the plot moves along briskly supported by the charachters' use of Mr G’s delightfully cynical sense of humour. This is the second book I have read in a few months and in both the good guys are really quite bad but rather like modern, transatlantic versions of Robin Hood. The reader is transfixed by sympathy for the plight of the principal members of the cast. Almost until the last page one is on the edge of one’s seat hoping that they will get away with it. Come on Mr G where are the next 10 or so?

Not read a poor Grisham up till now that is! Waste of time and money.
