She kissed the groom. She’s not the bride…
Edie thought she’d found The One…until he told her he was marrying someone else. And on the day of his wedding, when he kisses her, life really does go pear-shaped…
Labelled as a home-wrecker and office outcast, when her boss offers her the chance to get out of town Edie jumps at it, even though moving back in with her eccentric father and prickly sister isn’t exactly the escape she needs.
When her work throws her into the path of rising star and heartthrob Elliot, Edie is expecting a highly strung diva. But as their unexpected friendship develops, Elliot isn’t the only one in the spotlight…
Who’s that girl? Edie is ready to find out.

About the author
Sunday Times bestselling author Mhairi McFarlane was born in Scotland in 1976 and her unnecessarily confusing name is pronounced Vah-Ree.
After some efforts at journalism, she started writing novels and her first book, You Had Me At Hello, was an instant success. She’s now written four books and she lives in Nottingham with a man and a cat.
Witty, smirk inducing, read
The fourth in a series of books than create a wonderful glee whilst reading, and a sense of place. A great self confident heroine, who you like from the start, and a contemporary commentary on fame/social media hysteria. An easy read and an empty feeling when it's over. Can't wait for the next one.
Great book, disappointing ending.
I absolutely loved every page of this book, expect the last. I really became attached to the characters and just one more “happily ever after”line would have completed this book perfectly. Other than the disappointing end I absolutely loved this book & feel it has a bit of a 50 shades vibe. I am yet to read the authors other books but will not hesitate if they are as good as this one.
Quality Light Reading
Good quality light reading. An oxymoron, but the author has pulled it off. One star off for everyone being cliche beautiful.
