Yosemite Photos and Poems

I am a photographer and a poet. And this is a new ebook update to the print version of  my Yosemite Photos and Poems from 2004.


I combine photography and poetry in this book. Each word in my poem is intentional. Each line is meant to be read aloud. Each poem is meant to be the shortest and best way of expressing what I wanted to say in the least amount of words, and with best words possible. 

My poems  reflect what I see in the picture as well as what the photo means to me. I’ve changed some of the poems for this newer electronic edition. I’ve made changes that play on words or better reflect what I wanted to emphasize. My poems are word reflections of the picture and, at a deeper psychological level, they are a reflection of me and of how I project onto that picture the truths of my own soul. Hopefully they will also resonate with you, help you see the photo as I saw it, and “add value” that might not be there with just the photo alone.
