About the Film

Bill Murray (Lost in Translation) stars as Don Johnston, an aging Don Juan who is compelled to reflect on his past when he receives by mail a mysterious pink letter, sent from a former lover informing him that he has a 19-year-old son. Don's unannounced visits to each of the four potential former flames hold new surprises as he haphazardly confronts both his past and, consequently, his present. From acclaimed director Jim Jarmusch and co-starring Sharon Stone, Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange, Tilda Swinton and Jeffrey Wright, Broken Flowers is an original and poignant comedy.

Customer Reviews

this is Jarmusch near his best, and i love Jarmusch. It is full of quirky, flawed characters. Bill Murray is outstanding here and his quest here is hilarious.

I understand that not everyone will like it, but it is definately worth a go and at least one review ought to redress the balance of previous reviewers a little bit.

A fantastic film, great characters and great fun.

Dont Bother

Please if you value your free time, dont watch this slow placed, uninteresting film that is listed as a comedy!!! Haha! Thats the only joke. Fell asleep first time, and so thought I would give it a second try, MISTAKE. Although, I did manage to write all my Christmas cards. Bill Murray should have stopped at Ghostbusters. Poor acting from all of the supposed star studded cast.

Bunch of crap

A movie that disappears, far too slowly, up its own fundament
