In the late summer of 2013 the Isle of Man played host to thousands of fans of real motorcycle road racing as they made the pilgrimage to the hallowed Isle of Man TT Course to watch stars of the modern TT ride machines designed five decades ago. While the racing was spectacular it wasn’t the whole story – thousands of classic, vintage and veteran bikes were on display at Vintage Motor Cycle Club’s Festival of Jurby along with stars of TTs past and present. A whole slew of former World Champions including Giacomo Agostini, ‘Fast’ Freddie Spencer and Steve Baker were there to meet the fans, sign memorabilia and - most importantly - to strut their stuff on race bikes on track. The paddock turned into a period carnival and most poignantly for many fans was the re-enactment of the epic 1967 duel between Hailwood and Agostini with John McGuinness taking on Mike the Bike’s mantle. This is the full , comprehensive record of a pioneering event.
